After School Work
Affiliated to the KCC Youth Service, The White Cliffs Youth Association & Kent Youth, the after school work includes:
‘Drop-In’ sessions at the Cross-Links Centre for primary aged children from 3.15-5pm on Monday, Tuesday & Friday. We aim to provide an opportunity for the children to unwind after school and to interact together. We usually provide a soft drink and small snack.
‘Kids For Jesus’ (K4J)is a Christian club for children who would like to learn more about Jesus and get to know him. We meet on Thursday from 3.15-4.30 pm at the Cross-Links Centre.
All activities are free of charge, although a contribution of around 50p is welcome.
We do ask for a parental consent/registration form to be completed for children to join in.
Youth Cafe
This takes place at the Cross-Links Centre on Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. The Cafe is open to young people in school year 7 and over. There is food on sale, games & chat on offer! PLEASE NOTE: the Youth Cafe is temporarily suspended we hope to resume in the summer
Day Trips & Family Outings
During some school holidays we organise Outings to local attractions. These outings have been very popular - where possible these activities are subsidised through grants.
Please see the Forthcoming Events/Diary webpage or our monthly Newsletter for more details.
Holiday Clubs
During the Easter holiday we run the MAD (Making a Difference) Project with funding from Kent Children’s Fund. The MAD Project consists of outreach sessions with 5 - 13 year olds. We often run activity sessions for children aged 5 - 11 years in addition to the MAD Project. Please see the Forthcoming Events/Diary webpage or our monthly Newsletter for more details.
Christian Fellowship & Worship
We aim to provide opportunities for local people to experience Christian worship and to encounter God for themselves. We do this in a variety of ways.
Please see the Church@Cross-Links or Forthcoming Events/Diary webpages or our monthly Newsletter for more details.
As a Team we meet regularly to pray for the local community and would welcome any special requests you might have.
We are always happy to discuss any matter of faith – just ask!
