Lay Minister & Team Leader

Worship and pastoral enquiries.

 Co-ordinate work with children aged 0-11

Liaison with community groups, relevant agencies and organisations

Personal Profile:

Married to Anne with five children: Craig, Katy, Amy, Miles & Reece.

Originally from West Sussex, spent 24 years in the Army and settled in Dover prior to leaving the forces.

Nigel holds the office of Reader in the Church of England & was admitted & licensed in July 1998 at St. Anthony’s Chapel, Howe Barracks, Canterbury.

Appointed as the full-time Lay Minister at Cross-Links in February 2001.

Nigel is an executive member of BUCKLAND Together (multi-agency partnership), he chairs the Children & Young People group and the community development group.

 

Nikki Winter

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage the Community Day Centre

Assist with children’s work (0-11years)

Coffee & Cake

Liaison with relevant agencies and organisations

Personal Profile:

Living locally, Nikki first became involved with Cross-Links through her children attending the after school ‘drop-in’ and parent & toddler group. She began working at the Community Day Centre as a volunteer and then renewed her faith through Alpha at Cross-Links.

Appointed as a part-time Support worker in January 2007 and Centre Manager from September 2007.
